NeuroCheck Pro Welcomes Folasade Adewumi to Its Clinician Panel

NeuroCheck Pro today announced the appointment of Folasade Adewumi, a highly experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) and Neurodevelopmental Specialist, to its clinician panel. The appointment strengthens the platform’s network of expert assessors and expands access to comprehensive, NICE-aligned autism and ADHD assessments for children, adolescents, and adults.

Folasade brings extensive expertise in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) across the lifespan. She specialises in comprehensive autism assessments, including the administration and interpretation of both ADOS-2 and ADI-R, alongside evidence-based ADHD assessments using recognised tools such as DIVA-5, ACE/ACE+, QbTest, and Conners rating scales.

Folasade is recognised for her calm, compassionate, and neuro-affirmative approach, creating a supportive environment in which individuals and families feel understood, respected, and fully involved throughout the assessment process. Her clinical work is underpinned by a strong understanding of neurodevelopmental presentations across the lifespan, including the nuanced presentation of autism and ADHD in individuals with co-occurring mental health, emotional regulation, sensory, and social communication differences.

She has significant expertise in clinical formulation, differential diagnosis, safeguarding, and risk assessment, with a strong ability to synthesise complex developmental, behavioural, and psychosocial information into clear, clinically robust formulations and high-quality diagnostic reports. Her assessments are thorough, person-centred, and aligned with current NICE guidance and best-practice standards.

Alongside her clinical practice, Folasade has held senior leadership positions within the NHS, contributing to service development, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary decision-making. She works collaboratively with families, schools, GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists, and wider multidisciplinary teams to ensure assessments are holistic, ethical, clinically defensible, and tailored to the individual’s needs.
