NeuroCheck Pro Appoints Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed as Advisor
Physician, strategist and telemedicine pioneer, MIT Sloan alumnus, advises NeuroCheck Pro as it expands into Saudi Arabia and the wider region.

NeuroCheck Pro, the UK health technology company building a digital platform for ADHD and autism assessment, today announced the appointment of Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed as Advisor.
Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed is a physician, strategist and healthcare entrepreneur who has been pioneering telemedicine in Pakistan and the wider region since 1998. He is Adjunct Professor of Digital Health at HSA and an invited keynote speaker. He is the Founder and Convener of the Pakistan Center for Digital Health (PCDH), Chairman of the International Conference on Digital Health (ICDH), a member of the HIMSS Middle East steering committee and of UK Digital Health and Care, and the first Pakistani member of the American Telemedicine Association.
He joins NeuroCheck Pro as the company lays the groundwork for expansion into the Middle East and North Africa, with Saudi Arabia as the first market. In his advisory role, Dr Zakiuddin will lead NeuroCheck Pro’s partnerships with clinicians and healthcare organisations in Saudi Arabia and the wider region, drawing on his years building digital health services there.

About Dr Zakiuddin Ahmed
He is CEO of Digital Care, Pakistan’s first digital health company; Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Aman Ventures; and Chairman of the Advisory Board at Digitrends Arabia.
As Director of Digital Health at King Saud University, KSA, he developed Rah@H, the world’s first fully integrated connected-health RPM model. His advisory work spans the WHO Technical Committee and the Expert Panel for the Global Digital Health Competency Framework, the Health Standards Organization project team behind the CAN/HSO 83001:2025 Virtual Care and Services standard, and the Digital Health Platform IV workstream of the Respire2 project, an NIHR-funded programme at the University of Edinburgh.
As the Founding Director of the Riphah Institute of Healthcare Improvement & Safety (the region’s first dedicated patient-safety institute), President of the Healthcare Quality & Safety Association of Pakistan (HQSAP), Chairman of the International Conference on Patient Safety (ICPS), Patron of the Patient Safety Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Managing Editor of the Journal of Healthcare Quality & Safety, and Editor of BMJ Open Quality Riphah Pakistan Edition, he leads the region’s patient-safety agenda across research, training and practice.
On the research side, he is General Secretary of the Health Research Advisory Board and Chairman of the International Conference on Health Research (IHRC).
In leadership development, he is a certified trainer of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” and “Unconscious Bias”, and Founder and Executive Coach at the Institute of Innovation Leadership in Medicine and Management (IiLM), where he created the 9 Cs of Leadership competency framework, the ReS3HaPE model for a meaningful life, and ScHoLaReD for developing 21st-century healthcare professionals.
In lifestyle medicine, he founded the S.E.L.F.4Health model and chairs the International Conference on Lifestyle & Functional Medicine (ICLFM).
He trained in entrepreneurship at the MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston and became the Founding President of OPEN Karachi (the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America). He co-founded Health Asia in 2004, which has grown into one of the largest health exhibitions and conferences in the region.
